It's just a simple sketch, but nevertheless none of my pictures contains a message that is as important as this one, especially today.
I don't know if you heard about it in the news or on the Internet, but the Supreme Court of India has criminalized same-sex relationships and therefore homosexuality could be punished by a jail-term up to 10 years in India. It is claimed that the new law is based on a colonial-era law and I was wondering- are we beginning to go back in time?
By now there are many technical developments people twenty years ago never dreamed of, but contemporaneously there are nations that suffer from great hunger and everywhere lurks something that could probably cause a global conflict that could finally lead us to a next war. Disrimination and intolerance are sadly part of our lives, even if you turn out the television or ignore the news you just have to go out and you'll find similar problems in your neighbourhood.
It is impossible to solve every single problem in the world, it is neither possible for me nor for you to change the decision of the Indian Court. But it is indeed possible to stand up for persons who are discriminated against and to act in terms of tolerance and equality. No one has the right to limit the freedom of someone, unless this person does not respect the freedom of others.
Whatever your skin colour, gender or sexuality is: everyone deserves the access to a peaceful life with equal rights.

I won't get started on this topic, not again. And although I meant what I said about your art never being meaningless, this is still something I love simply because of what you wanted to express.
